XLAlly app for iPhone and iPad

XLAlly is an Excel Companion that helps you extract, audit and analyze the formulas and defined names in an Excel spreadsheet.

XLAlly provides you with an overview of all the formulas, their accompanying data and their defined names in a tabular form.



You can import files through iTunes. You can also import it from any other application on your iPhone, such as Mail or Dropbox.

After you have extracted the formulas from the Excel sheet, you can export the information back to any other application on your iPhone that accepts it. Or you can access it through iTunes.


You should save your Excel sheet as XML in order to be able to extract the formulas. The result is saved as a CSV document.
